HCSO has not published a separate records-unit number, public request form, or current records-office hours. Call the main line to confirm hours and ask for the records custodian. Use the detention number for a time-sensitive local custody question. The correct route depends on the record:
- For a booking sheet, arrest report, booking photo, correction, or local custody record, follow the request steps on the Hyde County arrest-record hub and contact HCSO.
- For a person believed to be newly booked, use 24 Hour Arrests; for a wider period, use the Arrest Log.
